This article guides you through the steps to download and install a Secure Browser on your device, preparing you for a seamless and secure testing experience.

Requirements

Before proceeding, ensure your device meets the following requirements:

  • Operating System: Check the Secure Browser's compatibility with your device's OS - Windows or Mac device is supported.

  • Storage Space: Ensure sufficient storage is available for the download and installation - 2 GB of available hard disk space and RAM.

Steps to follow

  1. Visit the following URL and read the instructions and download the secure browser compatible with your windows or Mac device: pages.talview.com/securebrowser/

  2. Once you download, install the secure browser

  3. Open the assessment link you received.

  4. Open the assessment in the secure browser when prompted to start the assessment. Keep your username or password, verification code/ Access code handy since you will not be able to access any other tabs or windows when Secure Browser is open unless configured by the organization.

  5. Exiting the Secure Browser after assessment completion:

    1. Windows: To exit Secure Browser once you have submitted your assessment, click on the 'Quit' button located in the bottom right corner. The 'Quit' button resembles a Windows power button (i). Alternatively, you can use the shortcut Ctrl+Q to quit Secure Browser.

    2. MacOS: Press the command (⌘) + Q keys together on your keyboard to quit Secure Browser once you have submitted your assessment.

    3. In the event of any technical issues requiring you to quit Secure Browser, you may rejoin the assessment using the same code provided in the invitation email.

Note: All other applications should be closed before opening the assessment in secure browser for a smoother experience.
