Students are required to close all additional applications running in the background before commencing the exam session. Upon clicking the "Start Exam" button within the La-Trobe Learning Management System (LMS), students must acknowledge their agreement with the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy by marking the respective checkbox. They should then proceed to the hardware test page and then to enable screen sharing.

For detailed instructions on hardware enablement, please refer to this link.

Once screen sharing is initiated, students will proceed to set up a secondary camera. This involves scanning a displayed QR code using their mobile phones. It is important to ensure that the phone is fully charged and the auto-lock feature is disabled to enable the use of the camera as a secondary device. Detailed setup instructions will be provided on the screen.

If any assistance is required, students can access the chat function located in the bottom right corner to communicate with the exam supervisor. For comprehensive guidance on setting up the secondary camera, please visit this link

After successfully configuring the secondary camera, students will be directed to an instruction page containing essential guidelines.

Clicking "Proceed" will initiate the photo ID verification process. Students are required to hold their student ID in front of the camera and click "Capture" as indicated. This photo will serve as a means of identity verification by the exam supervisor. It is essential that the photo and the associated name are legible and not blurred. In case of unclear photos, the exam supervisor may request a re-capture via chat.

Following the verification of details, students will proceed to the Face Capture step. Here, students should stand in front of the camera and click "Take a Picture" to capture their images.

Subsequently, students will advance to the Hardware Check page. The hardware check commences with an audio test, during which students must ensure that their microphone is fully functional. This involves clicking "Start Recording" and reading the provided sentence displayed on the screen.

Upon detecting the audio, the students will automatically enter the examination environment check page, where test candidates are expected to show their exam environment. In this area, the students are expected to take their time and show the entire test area as shown below. Once done click on 'Submit' and wait for the exam supervisor to admit the students to the exam.

Note: It may take up to 10 minutes for the exam supervisor to verify your details.
